Mr. Kinney moved to approve, with conditions, the request to remove additions to the main house and
demolish a detached shed at 410 S. Myrtle Avenue based on a finding that the proposed alterations are
consistent with the purpose and intent of Schedule S and complies with the specific design guidelines
contained within Schedule S, as outlined in the staff report. The conditions being: removal of existing shed;
removal of three additions at rear; the building permit for partial demolition must be accompanied by signed
and sealed drawings which reflect the measures that will be taken to protect the main historic building; and the
waiting period will be waived on the basis that the partial demolition will not adversely impact the main
building, and demolition of the rear building will not affect the historic and architectural value of the property.
