CITY COMMISSION CHAMBERS CITY HALL, SANFORD, FLORIDA MEMBERS PRESENT: Andy Kutz, Vice - Chairman Brian Volk Richard Huber Rami Yosefian Bobby VonHerbulis Otto Garrett MEMBERS ABSENT: Ross Robert, excused Mike Skat, excused Carol Dennison, excused Eddie Green, excused OTHERS PRESENT: Russ Gibson, Director of Planning and Development Services Chris Smith, Project Manager Larry Robertson, Development Services Manager Jared Munster, Planning Intern Mr, Kutz called the Worksession Meeting to order at 6:06 P.M. Mr. Gibson informed those that were present that the purpose of this Worksession was to hold a Community Awareness and Participation Plan (CAPP) meeting. A written overview of the project was distributed and available to all in attendance. The proposed project is a mixed use development containing two (2) 24 story residential towers with 468 dwelling units and 42,000 square feet of commercial retail space on 9.36 acres. Mr. Jerry Mills gave a brief overview of the proposed Rivers Edge project. Mr. Stephen Myers came forward to express concerns about the project's design including that the project creates a "wall" along Lake Monroe. Mr. Chris Kelly came forward generally in support of the project and is interested in working with the developers and architects. ADJOURNMENT. There being no further business, the meeting adj ou
