The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Regular Meeting on Monday, January 28,
2008, at 7 PM, in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 300 North Park Avenue, Sanford, Florida.

1) Meeting was called to order by Mayor Kuhn at 7:l 5 PINI.
2) Invocation by Pastor Fred Wilson, Church Liaison, Central Florida Dream Center.

Commissioner Woodruff moved to approve the Minutes. Seconded by Vice Mayor Williams and carried by

5) PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS:
A) Retirement Presentation to Police Officer William Stead.
Mayor Kuhn read a prepared statement acknowledging Officer Stead's 13 years of employment with the
Sanford Police Department, and presented him with his badge and ID.
B) Proclaim Monday, February 11, 2008, as Arbor Day.
Mayor Kuhn read the Proclamation and presented it to Elizabeth VanLandingham, Urban Forester.
C) Introduction of new Firefighters:
Battalion Chief Vince Fioretti introduced Aaron Colburn, Corey Jackson, Tom Johnson, and Ross
Meadows.

John Williams, Jr., property owner, submitted an itemized list of repairs that are to be made to the property.
Commissioner Woodruff moved to condemn the structure identified as the southerly most structure on Lot
16, generically kno,%N�n as 131.9 W. 13'h Street, and allow six (6) months for repairs as long as permits are applied for within
thirty (30) days and monthly progress is made. Seconded by Commissioner Jones and carried by vote of the Commission
