Ave. Church of God in the MR -2 zoned district at 503 Hickory Ave. represented by
Rev. Sanders. The site plan was a revised copy and met all requirements except
the paving of the parking area and the alley, which Rev. Sanders drew in on the
plan. Mr. Willis moved to approve the site plan and conditional use. Mrs. Roberts
seconded. Motion carried.
The next item was a site plan presented by John Holloway, for a 1200 sq. ft.
commercial building in the RC -1 zoned district at 2516 Sanford Ave. He said he
was aware that the water meter would be outside the fence for the proposed
building which will be used as a Gift Shop. Mr. Willis moved to approve.

The next site plan presented was for a 20,.800 sq. ft. manufacturing building .........
with a 2400 sq. ft. office building in the MI -2 zoned district at 2300 Old Lake
Mary Rd. represented by Kevin Spolski. The proposed building is for a Trophy
Mfg. Co. moving to Sanford from Longwood. Mr. Spolski agreed that a septic tank
permit would be required before applying for a building permit. After discussion,
Mrs. Roberts moved to approve the plan with the requirement of a septic tank
permit before building permit. Mr. Franklin seconded. Motion carried.
Mr. Wayne Blecha, owner of Sanford Auction at 1215 French Ave. was present to speak
from the floor. His complaint was of problems created by the "Family Amusement
Game Room " next door at 1219 French Ave. such as vehicles spinning "doughnuts"
on the Auction parking lot, foul language, window glass breakage, break -in and
theft, and the towing away of an Autcitoncustomer's auto parked in the 1219
parking lot and costing $35.00 to retrieve. Mr. Blecha was advised to write a
letter to owner Bernard C. Lewis, with a copy to P & Z, rescinding his permission
for use of 20 ft. of his property for use as a parking lot for 1219 French. This
will require submittal of a new site plan.
Mr. Payne provided each member present with a draft copy of the revised Flood
Prone Ordinance and a memo from the City Manager concerning the new hospital
site. He also distributed forms for Financial Disclosure to be filled out and
filed with the County Clerk's office.
