The meeting was opened at 8:00 P.M. by the Chairman, J. Q. Galloway.
The first item on the agenda, a site plan for Church's Fried Chicken,
2561 French Ave. was dismissed due to insufficient parking spaces
and engineering problems not resolved.
The next item for discussion was a site plan for Poppa Jay's,
2501 French Ave., tabled at the last meeting. Mrs. Roberts moved
to remove the item from the table for consideration. Mr. Meyer
seconded. Motion carried. Mr. Carl Holt was present with a re-
vised site plan. After discuss Mr. Sloan moved to recommend
the site plan with the following amendments: landscaping plan to
meet all requirements of the City, curb cut approval by DOT, light-
proof fence, not shadow -box, and angle parking be changed from 60
to 45 Mrs. Roberts seconded. Motion carried.
The next item for consideration was a site plan for an addition to
Magnolia Bakery (old Seminole Bakery) in the GC -2 zoned district
at 2533 Laurel Ave., represented by Sal Castello. After discussion,
Mrs. Roberts moved to approve the plan. Mr. Sloan seconded. Motion
carried.
The next site plan for consideration was for an addition to Sanford
Dry Cleaners in the SC -3 zoned district at 113 S. Palmetto Ave.,
represented by Steve Balint, Jr. He explained the added space is
for extra work area and will be one - story, with a display window.
Mr. Meyer moved to approve the plan. Mrs. Roberts seconded. Motion
carried.
The next item on

the agenda, conditional use of a single family
district at 500 W. 2nd St. was automatically

The next item for discussion was a request for a 2- family dwelling
on Lot 83, Sanfo Park, SW corner of Bay Ave. & 24th St., represented
by Mack LaZenby. Mr. Sloan moved to grant the conditional use.
Mrs. Roberts seconded. Motion carried.
The next request was for a home occupation for Janitorial Services,
telephone service only, at 2810 French Ave. represented by Tim Foley.
After discussion, Mr. Sloan moved to grant the request. Mr. Meyer
seconded. Motion carried.
The minutes of the last meeting were corrected to list Jack Bridges
as "absent ". Minutes were approved as corrected. There being no
further business, the meeting was adjourned.
