The meeting was called to order at 8:00 P.M. by the Chairman,
J. Q. Galloway. The first item on the agenda was a revised
site plan for Church's Fried Chicken, 2561 French Ave., rep-
resented by Frank Cutter. After discussion, Mr. Royster moved
to approve the plan subject to the items cited in the Engineer's
comments as follows:
1. Elevations and grades of parking areas to be
adjusted so as not to drain on private property
either to the north or south.
2. Driveway entrances on French Ave. subject to state
approval.
3. Landscaping to specifically meet Sanford's guidelines
and requirements.
4. The paving over the utility easement is at the
responsibility of the owner. If the existing
or future utilities must be maintained or in-
stalled, the repaving of the easement would be
the responsibility of the property owner.
Mr. Meyer seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
The next item for discussion was a site plan and request for
conditional use of.a church at 901 W. 13th St., represented
by Eddie McCrae. Mr. McCrae said they have permission from
the Service Station for parking, and more parking space on
the paved area behind the Chapel. Mr. Meyer moved to approve
the site plan and conditional use for a 9 -month time period.
Mr. Royster seconded. Motion carried unanimously.

The next request was for a conditional use for a two - family dwelling
in SR -1 zoned district on Lots 17 & 18, Blk 21, Dreamwold, at 2615
and 2617 Mohawk Ave., represented by Mr. Harold Fues. During the dis-
cussion it was established the square footage of living area complies
with the zoning. Mr. Meyer moved to approve the conditional use, with
the suggestion that a planter -type divider be placed between lots on
the driveway section. Mr. Royster seconded. Motion carried unani
mously.
Mr. Frank Dunn, 105 W. Jinkins Circle, was present to request a home
occupation for wholesale jewelry repair, telephone service only, in
an SR -1 district. After discussion, Mrs. Roberts moved to approve the
request. Mr. Royster seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
Mrs. Michelle Muncie requested from the floor a change of use of land
at 2597 French Ave. in GC -2 zoned district for retail sale of fire-
wood. After discussion, Mr. Royster moved that the change of use be
approved with the stipulation that there be no more than 3 ricks on
the property at any one time, and that it be stacked neatly. Mrs.
Roberts, seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as mailed.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
