Freeman Cliff Miller Jack Bridges Members Absent: C.B. Franklin Tom Wilson Rudy Sloan Others Present: Al Payne, Zoning Director The meeting was opened at 8:OO P.M. by the Chairman, J.Q. Galloway. The first item on the agenda was a Public Hearing, tabled from the meeting of April 5, 1979, to.rezone Hidden Lake PUD to SR -lA. There was no one present to speak in favor. Mr. Royster moved to table the public hearing to a "future date. Mr. Miller seconded. Motion carried. The next agenda item, tabled from the last meeting, was a: .Plat and Development Plan for "Ramblewood ", a 33 -acre parcel of Hidden Lake PUD. There was no representative aresent and it was reported from the staff that engineering plans are still not complete. Mr. Miller moved to table the item until a future date. Mrs. Roberts seconded. Motion carried. There was some discussion on the 1.6 acres of park area or money in lieu of, and Mr. Payne said Mr. Meadows had called to say that there was no park area shown on the original concept which was ap- proved and he did not feel he could change that now.- The members agreed that the money should be accepted and set aside for future park area. Mr. Payne stated that the wording in the Development Guidelines would be changed to read, "appraised value ", instead of "assessed value ". The next item for discussion was a request for a change of use in an existing building in the RI -1 district at 909 W. 3rd St. for limited manufacturing and processing of concrete tile, represented by John Webb of Flor -A -Crete Industries, Inc. Mr. Webb passed out brochures and samples of the tile he makes and explained the process. Mr. Royster moved to approve the change of use. Mrs. Roberts seconded. Motion carried. Hickey for Home Occupation of Artist's Agent, telephone service only, in the MR -1 zoned district at 714 Oak Ave. was cancelled at the request o the proponent. Mr. Angle was present to request from the floor, the feeling of the board on conditional use of a paint and body shop and used car lot in the 2600 block of N. Carolina Ave. if it were annexed into the city. After discussion it was evident that the Planning & Zoning Board would be reluctant to grant the use if it were re- quested.
