The meeting was called to order by the Chairman, Arthur Harris,
at 8:00 P.M.
The first item on the agenda was a Public Hearing to consider as
a conditional use, a motorcycle repair shop in the GC -2 zone at
205 E. 25th St. Mr. William Huguley was present to represent the
request.
Mrs. Marguerite Zittrower was present to speak in opposition and
presented letters of opposition from the following: Mrs. Poczik,
Mrs. LaRoche, W. & Bernadette Boucher, Karl & Billie David,
Mrs. Stanley Wright, George L. Swann, Jr., Carolyn F. Lanier,
Marjorie Ward, Charles Tomashefsky, Norma Johnson, Don & Margaret
Knight and Merie Fuhrmann. After reading the letters of opposition
because of the noise that would be generated by a motorcycle repair e
shop, there was a small discussion, a motion by Vic Gischler to
deny the request and incorporate the written letters into the
minutes. Mr. Royster seconded. Motion carried.
The next item was a Public Hearing to request rezoning Blk 2,
Tr. 17, St. GErtrude's Addition, 1400 W. 1st St. from RMOI to
GC -2. Ten.property owners within 200 ft were notified by certified
mail. Notice was published in the Evening Herald October 12, 1976.
Mr. Harold Hunziker was present to represent the request and pre-
sented letters stating no opposition from the following adjacent
property owners: Betty Mitchell, Dixie Oil Co., Richard Packard,
Wm;. & Ruth P. Wieboldt, Michael H. Myers, R.L. & Pauline Harvey,
Dallas\.K. & Lillian V. Bower, Jonnie L. J. McBride, and J.E. Baker
Heirs. There was no one to speak in opposition. Mr. Galloway moved
to recommend the rezoning on the stipulation that a letter of con-
sent be obtained from Realty Trust, the property owner. Mr. Gischler
seconded. Motion carried.

The next item on the agenda was a revised plan for a portion of a
PUD, generally described as located east of Orlando Drive, and south
of Airport Boulevard. Mr. Mindich was present to discuss the plan,
and explained that the revised plan is for single family residences.
Mr. Royster moved to approve the concept for the site plan.
Mr. Franklin seconded. Motion carried.
The next item for discussion was a site plan for a grocery store
at 4th & Poplar, represented by Mr. Brantley. A variance had
been obtained from the Board of Adjustment, and the parking lot
was approved. Mr. Karns moved to approve the plan, Mr. Royster
seconded. Motion carried.
The next item for discussion was a site plan for an addition of
a dining room to an existing church at 1700 W. 13th St. represented
by Blanche Bell. Mr. Galloway moved to approve the addition,
Mr. Franklin seconded. Motion carried.
The site plan for Guy's Bar -B -Que was tabled for lack of completed
plans.
Mr. John Percy was present to represent the site plan for Seminole
County Agriculture Center on College Road, and discussed the plans
for three buildings,.a jail complex, Public Works building and a
Fire Station. Mr. Karns moved to approve, Mr. Galloway seconded.
Motion carried.
Mr. Leroy Robb was present to represent Ted Williams for a request
for a 30' x 50' covered work area addition at 205 E. 25th St. for a
work area for changing tires. Mr. Royster moved to approve, Mr.
Gischler seconded. Motion carried.
The next item on the agenda was a request for the sale and con-
sumption of alcoholic beverages at Building 296, Sanford Airport
Terminal, requested by Red Cleveland. Mr. Galloway moved to ap-
prove the use, Mr. Franklin seconded. Motion carried.
Mr. A.S. Wickam was present to request a conditional use for
3416 S. Orlando Drive for a warehouse to store househould goods.
Mr. Franklin moved to approve the conditional use, Mr. Royster
seconded. Motion carried.
The next item for discussion was a request for approval of a site
plan for a storage building for trucks and equipment, and a space
for future use. It was suggested that the building be moved back
to provide better parking conditions. Mr. Franklin moved to ap-
prove the plan, Mr. Royster seconded. Motion carried.

There was a discussion on the proposed park area for Georgetown
and Mr. Karns moved to recommend the park be placed as near the
center of the area being served as possible, even if it means the
area be broken .up into two parks. Mr. Galloway seconded. Motion
carried.
The Board discussed the recommendation made Sept. 16, 1976, that
"No Parking Here To Corner" signs be placed at intersections on
13th St. where needed, and asked the staff to request a reply.
The minutes of the last meeting were approved, as mailed.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
