Mr. Berrien abstained from voting due to conflicting interests. Chairman Harris reported to -the Zoning and Planning Commission that the Annexation Plan as presented by the City Planner was discussed at a special City Commission meeting, January 6, 1972. He informed the members that the Commission looked with favor on the report and would resume study on the plan at another special workshop session. The City Manager submitted a sketch of a tract of land north and south of the railroad and west of Grapeville Avenue under option to Fleetwood Mobile Homes. The company had requested that this be reviewed by the members prior to annexation to get their feeling as to the zoning of this property for in- dustrial use. Also to get their feeling regarding two parcels presently within the city north of Academy Road and south of McCracken Road. After discussion and review of the sketch the general concensus of the members was that they would be in favor of the industrial zoning for that portion of the property west of Grapeville and north and south of the railroad but would not be in favor of rezoning the property north of Academy Manor and south of McCracken Road for industrial purposes. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. ;/ Chairman f
