The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. and an official
welcome was given to the newest Board member, Mr. Victor
Gischler.
The first item on the agenda was the consideration of the
Zayres Shopping Center Sight, which is the Redwing property
and the property behind, purchased from Christian Village.
They would like this parcel to be zoned C -1f
Mr. Knowles informed the Board that the City Commission
Public Hearing on September 25th would suffice for this.
Motion was made by Mr. Blacksheare, seconded by Mr. Davis
and duly carried to recommend this be zoned C -2.
The next item of business was Mr. Frank Beal submitting
verbal plans for Garden Apartments on the Lucas Bannon
Property, lying westerly of Ridgewood Avenue and between
Airport Blvd. and 25th St. legal description being:
Begin 33 chains W & 6.6 feet N of SE corner
of NE'k; Run E 10.4 chains, N 45 degrees, E 1.4
chains, N 8.95 chains, W 751.77 feet, Ssto
Point of Beginning. Sec. 2 Twp. 20S Rg. 30E.

Mr. Beal stated that his plans will comply with the
proposed MR -1 zoning of the new ordinance if approved.
Small scale plans were submitted of his projedrt_in
Winter Park. These show 14 units per acre, but the
Garden Apartments he proposes for this area would only
be 12 units per acre on a 10 acre parcel of land.
Motion was made by Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Franklin
and so carried to recommended to the City Commission
that this parcel be rezoned Multiple- family.
There being no furthur business the meeting was adjourned.
