W The meeting was called to order by the chairman.
Discussion of egress and ingress to the proposed Academy
0- Manor Addition was tabled until an answer could be obtained
from the Seminole County School Board, regarding Lot 89
which is adjacent to the proposed addition, as a possible
_ street right -of -way providing an extension to 13th Street.
Mr. Gerald Dake, Gerald Dake Associates, appeared before
the Commission to present the preliminary long range
development map as completed to date. After a thorough
discussion some changes were made to the map and it was
decided that a special workshop was needed to familiarize
each member with the map and to decide if any further changes
should be made before completion of the plan.

Updating the current Zoning Ordinance was discussed and
it was deemed necessary that this was in need of being
updated and would also be taken up at the workshop session
which is scheduled for January 21, 1971 at 7:00 P.M.
It was learned by the members that Seminole County would
supply us with information regarding the proposed land
use development plan for the area surrounding the City
of Sanford so as to help in preparation of our land use
development plan. Mr. Dave Farr was present to assure
the Commission of his full cooperation in helping to
bring this about.
Mr. Martin Gainer, City Planner advised the Commission to
proceed in submitting the application for recertification
of our Workable Program as soon as possible. He noted
many things that should be completed before the application
can be submitted. Some of the items were as follows:
1. All codes must be brought up -to -date.
2. Number of inspections should be listed.
3. Number of houses condemned.
4. Priority system for making inspections.
5. System for housing and relocation of displaced
persons.
6. Who provides relocation assistance ?
7. Citizen's participation and records of meetings.
8. Color pictures of demolition
9. Zoning Ordinance should be brought up -to -date
Mr. Gainer stressed to the members that all this information
should be completed and the application submitted by April
of 1971.
The minutes of the last meeting were approved as submitted
and there being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
