The Chairman called the meeting to order.
The reading of the previous minutes was waived. It was
recommended that the Chairman edit all the past minutes for
approval.
The first item of business was the consideration of zoning
newly annexed property inside the city limits. Loations being
as follows:
a)
108 W. 27th
Street
b)
Royal Castle
- southwest corner of
27th St. and

Standard Oil
Service Station -
southeast corner of Onora Road and
17 -92
d)
West side of
Sanford Avenue -
2800 Block
Mr. Harry H. Zimmerli appeared in behalf of the zoning of
his property at 2816 Sanford Avenue requesting consideration of
zoning it multiple family dwelling district.
After discussion, it was moved by Mr. Harris, seconded by
Z & P minutes

Mr. Bush and carried that it be recommended to the City Com-
that the following property be zoned as follows:
West side of Sanford Avenue, 2800 Block
a) Lots 25, 26, 27, 31 and 32, Park View, 2nd
Addn, be zoned C -1, neighborhood commercial.
b) Lots 33 thru 36 and Lots 43 thru 48, Park
View, 2nd Addn, be zoned R -2, one and two
family dwelling district.
It was moved by Mr. Karns, seconded by Mr. Wharton and
carried to recommend to the City Commission that property
at 108 West 27th Street, legally described as W � of Lots
359, 361, and 363, Frank Woodruff's S /D, be zoned R -1
single family dwelling district.
Motion by Mr. Bush, seconded by Mr. Harris and carried
to recommend to the City Commission that the Royal Castle
site, described legally as: Begin 24' N 32 8' E of most
southerly corner of Lot 42, run N 57 54' W 150', N 32
8' E 101.3' E 131.91' Southeasterly on curve 53.29'
Southwesterly on Road 150.2' to beg., Amended Plat Druid
Park, be zoned C -1, neighborhood commercial.
Mr. Wharton moved to recommend that the property site
of the Standard Service Station , legally described as:
South 67' of Lot 38, all of Lot 39 and the N 33.4' of Lot 40
(less the E 339.4'), Amended Plat Druid Park, be zoned C -1
neighborhood commercial. Seconded by Mr. Bush and carried.
The Building Official then submitted a request from the
Esso Service Station on the east si l # aee between
18th and 19th Streets for a variance o erec a secon ground
sign of 12k' high x 3' wide, making approximate 30' in- between
the existing sign and the proposed sign, with placement or erection
to be on the north end of station; placing it approximately in
the center of the property frontage.
