Se tember 20, 1962
Members present were: Messers. McKibbin, Harris, Bush,
Wharton, Lee, Karns and Davis. Also present were City Manager
Knowles and Building Official Yelvington.
Chairman McKibbin called the meeting to order.
The Chairman called the Board's attention to the date of
November 22,,1962, regarding the Florida rlanning and Zoning
Association's Annual Meeting. It was recommended that the City
Commission be requested to send the Building Official to this
meeting.
The Board then discussed their proposed changes in the
adoption of a new policy pertaining to the filing of an appli-
cation for re- zoning.
It was moved by Mr. Davis, seconded
that the following rules and regulations
and then submitted to the City Commission
approval:

by Mr. Lee and carried
be adopted by the Board
for any changes and /or
The Board's attention was called to the present operation
of "produce vendors" out of way- side'stands whereby they were
not complying with local ordinances as se~t forth in electrical,
building and sanitary codes.
It was moved by Mr. Harris, seconded by Mr. Bush and carried
that the situation of the growing number of produce vendors, who
are ignoring the numerous city codes of zoning, sanitation, electrical
and building be brought to the attention of the City Commission
With the recommendation that they be given a notice to comply with
these codes or cease to operate.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
