at this time with reference to Sanford Avenue.
In the discussion that followed with the attending City Com-
missioners, Mr. Gut suggested to the Beard members that from
new an in their recommendations to the City Commission should
be elaborated on and more thought put into them as far as the
warding is concerned.
It was further suggested to the City Commissioners that in the
future, the Board would be gratful if the City Commission would
either give them a definite "no' or "yes' on their recommendations
submitted rather than just leave them dangling or set aside.
On this basis, the Zoning & Planning Commission could base their
future planning; and too, it might be best for both Commissions
if the City Commission would notify the Zoning & Planning in
writing if the recommendation or recommendations are approved,
and if not, the reasons why it was rejected.
The board members assured the City Commissioners that in the
future their requests, suggestions, or recommendations will not
be made to accomodato one person, but for the betterment of the
public as a whole.
It was felt by both Commissions that they hoped to work in
closer harmony for the coming year for the betterment of the
City of Sanford.
