CAUTION - At this point curtain hex no spring W nsion to prevent curtain from
falling. As a safety measure, install vice grips 8' below bellmouths to one guide
angle at each jsunb. This will prevent accidental rolling down of door.
Step S - Application of Holding Tension
CAUTION -- Do not attempt any spring soustrrm to unless door is open.
Cl Curtain must be fully rolled up with bottom bar engaged to stops.
WAM1lrti - Always wind when the door Is in the up position. Springs
are under the least amount of tansion at this point
CI Using W or VV winding bar (depending on type of adjusting wheel
provided) wind In.direction shown.
0 Look dm supplied is used to lode the adjusting wheel when I %* turns
have been wound,
U Remove protective vice grips, run door fully down & up; a*mt tension for
best operation.

O Raise the hood Mrefulty over the brackets so the ends of the hood are
approxrmertely 3tis* from the outside edge of the brackets.
0 Set the tap flange tight against the wall and fasten with hardware
provided.
O Fasten the hood to the existing hobs in the brackets (and supports) with
self-apping screws.
o If housings are required do not tighten screws at this three do not
tighten screws at this time, as housing must slip under hood.

general contractor or owner, and secure receipt.
O Loose electrical equipment, (i.e. control stations, coil cords, well mounted

O Chain gear and crank operated doors are to be lubricated with machine oil
or light grease.
