Minor Reviews 6. 6 Month Reviews 1018 Oak Ave Remove metal awnings, vinyl siding, soffits, screen enclosure on front porch; replace porch floor; demolish garage and guest house; construct new garage. Remove fence, spa and wood deck. 215 W. 5 Street Replace windows; Remove chimney; Install new front door 7. Review Proposed Amendments to Schedule S — Sign Regulations 8. MINUTES HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD MEETING MAY 12, 2005 5:30 PM CITY COMMISSION CHAMBERS CITY HALL, SANFORD, FLORIDA Members Present Maria Shreve Stephanie Powers Denny Gibbs Alex Then Kurt Ewen Staff Present Antonia Gerli — Principal Planner Item 2 Call to Order — the meeting was called to order at 5:39 p.m. Item 3 Approval of Minutes for the April 14, 2005 meeting. Ms. Gibbs made the motion to approve. Mr. Ewen seconded the motion. Motion carried 5 -0. Item 4 Applications for Certificates of Appropriateness - Residential District Item 4A 618 S Palmetto Avenue, owner Cally Dawber, is requesting approval to demolish addition at the rear of the house. Ms. Gibbs made the motion to approve as submitted to demolish the screen addition. Mr. Ewen seconded. Motion carried 4 -0. Item 4B 605 S Magnolia Avenue, owner Dale Newton is requesting approval to attach a carport to the pre- existing garage. Ms. Gibbs made the motion to approve as submitted. Mr. Ewen seconded the motion. Motion carried 4 -0 5:53 Ms. Shreve entered the meeting. Item 5 Minor Reviews Mr. Then - 1000 Park Avenue, where was this left with code enforcement? Item 6 Six Month Reviews Ms. Gibbs — 218 Oak Ave, windows replaced? 215 W 5 th St — windows replaced? Item 7 Review proposed amendments to Schedule S — Sign Regulations Board discussion regarding sign regulations and changes to schedule S. Ms Gibbs — 600 block of Oak, 2nd house in on west side, yellow house, front of house falling off. Item 10 Adjournment — there being no further business, the board adjourned at 7:17 p.m.
