Tax Parcel Number: 25 -19 -30 -5AG- 0706 -0060 Property Owners: Kevin Best & William Williamson Representative: Kevin Best & William Williamson PM -2 Hold a Public Meeting to consider a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for the property located at 301 W. 7 th Street The applicant would like to install black vinyl coated aluminum and black vinyl coated chain link fences on the property. Page 1 of 1 MINUTES HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD MEETING NOVEMBER 30, 2006 5:30 PM CITY COMMISSION CHAMBERS CITY HALL, SANFORD, FLORIDA Members Present Hank Dieckhaus Kurt Ewen Nancy Lord Denny Gibbs Members Absent Staff Present Christine Dalton — Community Planner Call to Order - the meeting was called to order at 5:40 p.m. Roll Call Approval of Minutes October 26, 2006 meeting. Ms. Gibbs made the motion to approve. Mr. Dieckhaus made the second. Motion carried 4 -0. Public Meetings PM -1 Address: 309 W. 5 Street Owner: Kevin Best & William Williamson Request: Replacement of existing original windows with new double hung, wood windows. Applicants withdrew their request for replacement of original windows. Upon visiting CCS Restoration the applicant have decided to retain their original windows and have several rebuilt to match the original. Applicant took the opportunity to obtain feedback from the Board on their plans for the structure. The applicant has committed to appearing before the HPB on 12/28 to obtain approval for further work, after drawings are complete. Staff Reports Christine: Presentation of Cultural Corridor concepts. Minor Review 6 Month Review Citizen Participation Chairman and Board's Items for Discussion Issue of graders in alley — soil builds up at base of accessory structures, leading to rot of the sill plate and deterioration of the structure. Replacement of sidewalks causes grade to be higher, leading to water pooling and further deterioration. What can be done about this?
