PM -1 Hold a Public Meeting to consider a Certificate of Appropriateness application for the property located at
203 -207 Magnolia Avenue The applicant would like to obtain final approval to construct an 8' brick
wall between the two structures.

PM -2 Hold a Public Meeting to consider a variance application for the property located at 301 W. 7 th Street. The
applicant would like to obtain approval to install a metal fence around the perimeter of the property.

Call to Order - the meeting was called to order at 5:45 p.m.
Roll Call
Approval of Minutes
Mr. Chen made the motion to approve with correction to his name.
Mr. Compton seconded the motion.
Motion carried 3 -0.
Public Meetings
PM -1 Address: 203 -207 Magnolia Avenue
Property Owner: Ritz Community Theatre

Request: Construct an 8 foot brick wall between the structures.
Mr. Compton made the motion to approve as presented.
Mr. Chen seconded the motion.
Motion carried 3 -0.
PM -2 Address: 301 W 7 Street
Property Owners: Seminole County School Board

Request: Final approval to install a metal fence around the perimeter of the
property.
Mr. Chen made the motion to approve with the condition that the metal fence can have 6 inch
pickets, but that the overall fence height shall not exceed 5 feet with no more than a 3 inch gap
between pickets.
Mr. Compton seconded the motion.

and to install a 6 foot high fence along the property line.
Mr. Chen made the motion to approve the variance for height and setbacks.
Mr. Compton seconded the motion.

Request: final approval to construct a carport and awning a the rear of the
property.
Mr. Compton made the motion to approve with modifications that the structure is shortened to 8
feet and the colors are to match the principle structure.
Mr. Chen seconded the motion
Motion carried 3 -0.
PM -5 Address: 301 W. 10 Street
Property Owners: Brian Ross & Matthew Blanton
Representative: Brian Ross
Request: final approval for side entry doors that have been installed on the structure.
Mr. Chen made the motion to deny, the doors are not schedule s compliant. The applicant to
work with staff for compliant doors based on craftsman style for side or rear entryway.
Mr. Compton seconded the motion.
Motion carried 3 -0.

Ms. Dalton needed a motion for recommendation to the commission to reduce the application for sandwich signs
from $250.00 to $25.00.
Mr. Compton made the motion to approve reduction in sandwich sign applications from $250.00 to $25.00.
Mr. Chen seconded the motion.

Georgetown Plan - Ms. Dalton reviewed plans for development of conservation district regulations in the
Georgetown area of Sanford and the changes that would be involved.
