Park Avenue The applicant would like to obtain final approval modify the garage roof by closing in the rafter tails and adding a gable over the side entry. Tax Parcel Number: 25 -19 -30 -5AG- 1404 -0030 Property Owner: Noe Videa Representative: Noe Videa PM -2 Hold a Public Meeting to consider a request for Landmark Designation at 1011 S. French Avenue The applicant would like have landmark designation granted for the sign located on the property. Tax Parcel Number: 25 -19 -30 -5AG- 1208 -0080 Property Owner: Georges Tavern Inc. Representative: Peter Kostylin PM -3 Hold a Public Meeting to consider a Variance application for the property located at 907 S. Magnolia Avenue The applicant would like to obtain final approval for a variance to install a 16' garage door on the detached alley- facing garage. Tax Parcel Number: 25 -19 -30 -5AG- 1102 -0080 Property Owner: Wayne & Cheryl Deming Representative: Wayne Deming PM -1 Hold a Public Meeting to consider a Certificate of Appropriateness application for the property located at 1014 S. Oak Avenue The applicant would like to obtain final approval to construct a two -story single family dwelling on the property. Elm Avenue Item: Final approval for a variance to the maximum fence height allowed in the front yard (7th Street). 111 -115 S. Palmetto Avenue Item: Final approval to construct a 10 x 20 garage /shed 309 W. 5th Street Item: Final approval to demolish the existing detached carport and waiver of the 180 day waiting period for demolition. Public Meetings PM -1 Address: 1206 Park Avenue Property Owner: Noe Videa Representative: Noe Videa Request: approval to modify the garage roof by closing in the rafter tails and adding a gable over the side entry. Mr. Dieckhaus made the motion to deny the presented request. Mr. Chen seconded the motion. Motion carried 4 -0. PM -2 Address: 1011 French Avenue Property Owners: George's Tavern Representative: Barry Mix Request: Final approval for landmark designation on the pole sign. Mr. Dieckhaus made the motion to make the recommendation to the City Commission that the sign be designated a landmark. Mr. Compton seconded the motion. Motion carried 3 -1 (Ewen). Historic Preservation Board January 24, 2008 Page 2 PM -3 Address: 907 Magnolia Avenue Property Owners: Wayne Deming Representative: Wayne Deming Request: approval for a 16 foot wide garage door on a detached alley facing structure. Mr. Dieckhaus made the motion to approve as presented. Mr. Chen seconded the motion. Motion carried 4 -0. PM -4 Address: 1014 Oak Avenue Property Owners: Charlie and Kathy Hull Representative: Mary Valente Request: final approval to construct a two story single family residence. Mr. Dieckhaus made the motion to approve as presented. Mr. Chen seconded the motion Motion carried 4 -0. Minor Review 6 Month Review Citizen Participation Staff Reports /Training New intern Teresa O'Connor introduced to board. There was discussion between Christine and the board regarding properties that have commenced work without certificates of appropriateness or building permits and subsequent code enforcement action. Chairman and Board's Items for Discussion Adjournment There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:07 p.m.
