Tax Parcel Number: 25 -19 -30 -5AG- 0601 -0090 Property Owner: Exact Plumbing Inc. Representative: Jason Turner PM -2 Hold a Public Meeting to consider a Certificate of Appropriateness application for the property located at 215 E. 1 Street The applicant would like to obtain approval for an A -Frame sign. Tax Parcel Number: 25 -19 -30 -5AG- 0302 -0010 Property Owner: Howard and Robin Marks Representative: Debra Lindgren PM -3 Hold a Public Meeting to consider a Certificate of Appropriateness application for the property located at 911 S. Palmetto Avenue The applicant would like to obtain approval for modifications to all four elevations. Palmetto Avenue The applicant would like to obtain approval to install porch railings and balusters on the second story (south elevation) Tax Parcel Number: 25 -19 -30 -5AG- 1002 -0040 Property Owner: Sandra S. Sirmans Representative: Sandra S. Sirmans Minor Reviews 6 Month Reviews (December 2008 Meeting) 300 E. 2nd Street Item: Approval to enclose the double garage bay and install French doors on the south elevation. Status: HPB approved installation of garage doors with clear glass. To date, the applicant has not submitted a permit to install the approved doors. 1111 S Palmetto Avenue Item: Approval to install new windows on the primary facade. Status: The new windows have been installed on the primary facade. Page 1 of 2 1014 S Oak Avenue Item: Approval for revisions to the garage door design approved by HPB on January 23, 2008. Status: The garage doors have been installed. 615 S. Park Avenue Item: Approval to remove a rear window, door and staircase, as well as replace T -1 -11 plywood siding Status: To date this work has not yet been performed, and the applicant has not applied for a permit. (FS 286.0105) Page 2 of 2 Minutes Historic Preservation Board June 24, 2009 — 5:30 PM City Commission Chambers City Hall, Sanford, Florida Members Present Delton Chen (Chairman) Hank Dieckhaus (Vice - Chairman) Mike Yebba Steve Chusmir Robert Kinney Others Present Christine Dalton, Community Planner/Historic Preservation Officer JoAnn Johnson/HPB Secretary Delton Chen called the meeting to order at 5:32 PM Minutes The May 27, 2009 regular meeting minutes were considered. Mr. Chusmir moved to approve the minutes. Mr. Dieckhaus seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 5 to 0. Mr. Chen read the following into the public record: "Applicants are advised that any person aggrieved by a determination of the Board may appeal such determination to the City Commission by filing a written appeal and paying associated fees through the City Clerk's Office within thirty (30) calendar days of the Board action. Additionally, a permit may be required for any Certificate of Appropriateness approved this evening. It is the applicant's responsibility to inquire with the Building Department as to whether or not a permit is required for the approved Certificate of Appropriateness." Public Hearing PM -1 Hold a Public Meeting to consider a Certificate of Appropriateness application for the property located at 305 E. 4tn Street The applicant would like to obtain approval for exterior doors. Mr. Chusmir seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 5 -0. Palmetto Avenue The applicant would like to obtain approval for modifications to all four elevations. Tax Parcel Number: 25 -19 -30 -5AG- 1101 -0000 Property Owner: Life Christian Church Representative: Cristine Rosenhaim Mr. Kinney made a motion to approve the request for modifications to all four elevations, with option 43 (relocation of existing windows to east elevation) on the condition that EIFS is prohibited for constructing the parapet. The parapet shall be constructed of wood and stucco. Mr. Chusmir seconded. All in favor. Motion carried 5 -0. Motion carried 5 -0. Minor Reviews The board approved minor reviews. The board discussed the status of the repairs at 305 S. Park Avenue, as well as discussion regarding vacant and foreclosed properties. Citizen Participation None. Staff Reports Chairman and Board Items for Discussion Mr. Dieckhaus inquired as to the status of the window at 101 E. IO' Street. Staff advised the property owners had not yet closed the permit, and advised the board there would be follow up. Mr. Dieckhaus inquired as to the status of facade improvements at 115 -117 W. 1S Street. Staff advised a site visit would be performed. Mr. Kinney inquired as to the meeting date for the Schedule S workshop. Adjournment There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 7:04 PM.
