Approval of Minutes
Mr. Esler moved to approve the April 5, 2018 minutes with no changes. Ms. Oyewale seconded. Motion carried
unanimous.

applicant and clarify requirements and lot sizes for the project. Mr. Fiorentino seconded. Motion carried
unanimous.
PH-2A Hold a Public Hearing to consider a Future Land Use Amendment request to change 7.72 acres located at
800 Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard from LDR-SF, Low Density Residential-Single Family to WIC,
Westside Industry and Commerce

Staff Reports
Sam Goodwin, New Planning Technician, was introduced to the Commission.
Jordan Smith, Senior Planner, provided and update regarding the minutes of the Joint Comprehensive
Plan Amendment Workshop with the City Commission.
Ms. Hinson requested input from the Commission to move the July 5, 2018 meeting to July 12, 2018 due
th
to the 4 of July holiday that week. The board appreciated the consideration and agreed to the move.
Staff thanked the Commissioners that were able to attend the appreciation dinner and the ethics training.
Ms. Oyewale informed the board that she would not be able to attend the June 7, 2018 meeting due to a
prior commitment and asked that the board vote to excuse her absence.
Ms. Golloway reminded the Commissioners to please reply if they do receive emails from our office. It
is usually something that needs confirmation or feedback.
Ms. Oyewale had to leave for another meeting at 12:02 pm.
