REGULAR MEETING
The City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, met in Regular Meeting on
Monday, July 23, 2018, at 7:00 PM, in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 300 North Park
Avenue, Sanford, Florida.

proposed FY 2018/2019 budget for Monday, September 10, 2018 at 7 PM at City

The City Clerk informed the Commission that the Deputy Clerk has been hired and
will begin on August 1, 2018.
11) CITY MANAGER'S REPORT
ADD-ON ITEM
Approval of payment in the amount of $304,858 to Veytec, Inc. for IT replacement
equipment in FY 2018. It is a savings of $130,000.

12) CITIZEN PARTICIPATION

REGULAR MEETING
Several residents spoke against the proposed annexation located at 3242 Ohio
Brenda Hartsfield, Sanford resident, said that she was responsible for initiating the
video of the incident that took place at The Barn, however, she did not block anyone from making
comments on the post.
Henry Sweet, Sanford resident, expressed his concern with the poor customer
service that he received on a recent visit to the Utility Department and the lack of resolution. The
Mayor and Commission will meet individually with the City Manager to gain a better
understanding of the incident as well as reach a resolution.
