Ben,
I have spoken with JoAnn Johnson in the building permit department and she is aware of the following:
Since these are lots dealing with the same developer just in a different location we can transfer the impact fees to the new
lots as long as we have something in writing from Windsor authorizing this since the old lots are now in their name.
All you would need to do is present the authorization from Windsor along with new fees as applicable to the building
department and the impact fees will be transferred.

Mrs. Lindsay,
We are in the process of getting impact fees changed from a TH building that we bought from Mercedes homes and
later realized it was too close to the pool deck to build. Unfortunately the impact fees had already been paid on the
building when we realized we could not build the building. I have attached letters that I sent to Mr. Blake at the city to
request that the utility impact fees be transferred and one to Ms. Forte at the county requesting that the county impact
fees be transferred from the building that we could not build to the one we can.
I was told that you are the person I should contact to get the police, fire and recreation impact fees transferred. We are
in the process of terminating the building permits on the unbuildable building and can get you those as soon as we have
them. Can you tell me what else you need in order to transfer the police, fire and recreation impact fees.
I have also attached a picture of where the corner of our building would be if we built it to plan.
Mercedes Homes, who we bought the lots from and who swapped us a buildable pad supports us in getting the impact
fees transferred. I have copied Sharon Weber, their corporate land manager on the email.
Thanks,
Ben Snyder
