Add On Items/New Business
04/28/19: Home Grown Makers Market, Paul Williams attended, requested a street closure at
Palmetto, set up will begin at gam, 1 spider box, will need COI from organizer and Paul.
09/07/19: Sanford Music Festival, Paul Williams attended. This is a new event with a footprint
similar to the Hurricane Party, which will feature Orlando bands. A street closure is requested
on Sanford Ave from 2nd to Palmetto. The area will be fenced and the event will be ticketed. A
spider box is requested. The noise ordinance permits music until midnight.
06/01/19: Hurricane Party, Paul Williams attended. This will be the same platform as last year,
150 chairs will be needed, 10 liners, and an extra dumpster.
Food Truck Fiesta monthy event, Paul Williams attended. He has asked that set up time change
from 3pm to 2pm. The change will be presented before the Commission.

04/13/19: Fairwinds Credit Union Shred Fest, Josh Klima was contacted via phone. 6 shred
trucks will be staged. The map site needs to be changed from vehicles stopping on Towne
Center Blvd to inside the mall parking lot. From 9am — 12 pm the event is for Fairwinds
members only, 12 pm — fpm for the general public. A COI is needed from Fairwinds and Crown
Shredding. 2 police officers are requested from 8:30 am —1:30 pm.
04/20/19: Easter Eggstravaganza: Run for God is being held during the morning. City staff will
come in on Sanford Ave.
AAS: Cost saving strategies: Derrek Daniels was contacted via phone and discussed the number
of police officers needed. Discussion ensued of 2 officers on either end of event, 1 CRA funded
officer, and 1 roaming officer. Officer's may be let go if not needed after 4 hour minimum
requirement is met.
