Review Minutes: SERC 02/19/19, motion to approve by Jim Gantt, seconded motion by Jerry

Add On Items/New Business
05-03-19: Shriners Skill Exhibition at Seminole Towne Center, attended via
telephone, confirmed event date of Friday, starts at 8:00 Ann, no city services required.
05-11-19: Tuffy's Anniversary, Dan St. Pierre attended via phone. Event will have
similar footprint to Grand Opening, live music, food, alcohol, no vendors. Will have
port -o -lets, may have draft trailer. One police officer is requested at 3rd St. Will utilize
own dumpster.

05-26-19: Sanford Indie Market at Tuffy's, Dan St. Pierre attended via phone, event
will have similar footprint to previous event. If Nation's property is under construction,
more vendors will be moved to the street.
06-25-19: TNT Fireworks at Walmart 3653 S. Orlando Drive, will have same
footprint as past years.
04-14-19: Riverside Dash 15K and 5k Race, Joe Matozick with Red Pointer Productions
attended. He will be running event this year and is under contract to do so for the next
3 years. The event will have private security and Joe will find out if security will be
armed, sprinklers will be off on Thursday, Joe will find out when the port -o -lets will be
delivered, they will need 2 dumpsters. Joe will email a copy of the agreement with the
security company (QRS The Shield). In addition, Joe will provide a COI for Red Pointer
Productions, Seminole County Chamber and QRS The Shield.
Alvarise James will check on the status of a potential booking on 04-15-19 at the Civic
Center.
In the past, noise complaints were made. It's imperative that the music/speakers be
angled towards the water.
Upcoming Events:
3/14/2019 Alive After Five- cancelling some events and hoping to utilize the same
CRA funds. The event will have more changes coming.
3/14/2019 Bike Night at The Alley- motorcycles do have designated parking as per
written agreement(on file with Code Enforcement).
3/15/2019 Picnic in the Park, Dance in the Dark- will not be selling alcohol. Sgt.
Glenn will discuss with Ofc. Neal as to police presence(or not).

inquired about stage information, will need a sound speaker, did add a water hook up.
