INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT
KIDS HOUSE OF SEMINOLE, IN ' C.
CHILDREN'S ADVOCACY CENTER
WHEREAS, Kids House of Seminole Inc. was created by a
collaboration of agencies in Seminole County concerned with the
investigation, prosecution, and resolution of child abuse and neglect
cases, and
WHEREAS, Kids House of Seminole Inc. was created to enhance
the cooperative partnerships of involved agencies to minimize additional
trauma on victims of child abuse and neglect and to better facilitate
successful prosecution, and
WHEREAS, Kids House of Seminole, Inc. was created to provide
certain services and assistance to and for the benefit of abused children,
including providing all necessary services for child abuse cases, from
report and investigation through treatment and resolution, in a child -
friendly environment, and
WHEREAS, Kids House of Seminole, Inc. occupies a secured
facility located at 5467 N. Ronald Reagan Blvd., Sanford, Florida, for use
by member agencies during the investigative process, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the victims of child abuse
and neglect and the residents of Seminole County, Florida to locate the
7C - Seminole - Child Protection Team, SCSO Crimes Against Children
Investigative Unit, Child Advocate, Mental Health, and Medical Trauma
Programs through partnership with Florida Hospital - Altamonte in said
facility, and

Kids House of Seminole, Inc.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the victims of child abuse
and neglect and the residents of Seminole County, Florida for the Multi-
discipline Team of agencies concerned with the investigation,
prosecution, and resolution of child abuse and neglect cases to have
access to a child -friendly, non -threatening environment to meet with
children who are victims of abuse and access resources for those
children,
AGREED► as follows:
1. The undersigned will work cooperatively in all matters relating to the
investigation, prosecution, and resolution of child abuse and neglect
cases as outlined in the Child Abuse and Neglect Investigative
Protocol for Seminole County.
2. The undersigned will abide by the Articles of Incorporation and
Bylaws of Kids House of Seminole, Inc. as they pertain to each
agency.
3. The undersigned and their representatives will abide by the laws of
confidentiality as outlined in Florida Statute regarding Children who
are victims of abuse and as written in the Child Abuse and Neglect
Investigative Protocol for Seminole County.
4. The Child Abuse and Neglect Investigative Protocol for Seminole
County, Florida will be adopted as part of the agency's policies,
procedures, or standard operating practices.
5. The Child Abuse and Neglect Investigative Protocol for Seminole
County, Florida may be amended by majority vote of the Board of
Directors of Kids House of Seminole, Inc. with ratification by the
Partner Agency Executive Board.
6. Kids House of Seminole, Inc. will notify the undersigned of changes to
the Child Abuse and Neglect Investigative Protocol for Seminole
County, Florida within ten ( 10) days of adoption.
7. Either party may revoke this agreement by written notice to the other.
