Attendance: Jennifer Brooks, Chairperson Faye Winfrey Eileen Hinson Fred Alexander Tyrone Lowery Connie Fowler Peter Justiniano Ricky Johnson Karan Stresen-Reuter, Secretary Add On Items/New Business 07/20/19: Food Truck Wars, Belgian Indy Day: Paul Williams was present. Buster's Bistro would like to collaborate their Belgian Indy Day with the food truck event. Food vendors for profit have to be licensed and notifiy the state. If it's not a non-profit event, everyone must be licensed. Is Buster providing all the food? Block the alley between 2nd and 3rd. Jennifer Brooks will bring police department and/or code enforcement. Power is needed near Buster's only. Would like a walk through for Hurricane Party Wednesday prior to event. Paul will put vehicles at every point and end caps will be food trucks. An officer will be needed at Palmetto and 2nd Hook'd on Lake Monroe Event: Paul Williams was present and discussed preliminary ideas for the event. The event would need boat security, weigh in at 12 and 2, fishing tournament, only need to register at Celery City, a full website for the event will exist, working with Courtney Lancer for kids fishing rodeo. A kids fishing tournament will take place on Lake Corolla from 11am — 2 pm. 07/20/19: Trucks Gone Wild: Eric Thims attended the meeting. In regards to having the parking lot stripped and making updgrades, The Barn needs to come up with a plan and work with Mike Cash. The exact layout of the trucks, etc is needed, must provide disable parking, must make sure the police department is comfortable with the lay out. Mr. Thims will need to pull a permit and get approval, make modifications and bring site plan to SERC. Must have an accessible route for all, prior to City Commission the event needs to be exactly drawn out. Designated parking at owned property. 18 years old and about only allowed in pedestrian are. With regards to the fence, there will be 5 feet of asphalt, concrete barriers, 20 feet of concrete. A Budweiser semi truck will help with a distraction along the roadway. Insurance may need to cover city, insurance, The Barn, and Trucks Gone Wild(who doesn't provide insurance). Applicant needs to work on an exit plan, handicap parking on 12th, distance has been increased to 30 feet, insurance limit, and attendee waiver(spectator) signs.
