Minutes 4_ Review Minutes: SERC 06/04/19, 06/18/19: Winfrey Attendance: Faye Winfrey Karan Stresen-Reuter, Secretary Fred Alexander Tyrone Lowery Jim Gantt Connie Fowler Eric Rivera Ronnie McNeil Ricky Johnson Add On Items/New Business motion to appQe Jim Ltit, seconded Faye 1. 09/15/19: Sanford Indie Market and 11/03/19: Sanford Indie Market: may need to be closer to building due to Nation's site under construction. Mr. Nation is aware of events. Jim Gantt recommended evidence of insurance for vendors. 2. 04/25/20: Melissa's Race: 6:30 am — 9:30 am race, 9:30 am —12:00 pm after party. Advent Health will provide EMT services, Splash Pad is requested from 9:30 am- 12 pm and would like it open and free to guests. Perhaps they can prepay for entry wrist bands. They are open to having food trucks and are also partnering with Deviant Wolfe, will have a band. A CO1 is needed, it is recommended that they get proof of insured for any vendors. 4 police officer's will be needed for the race and 2 for the 1 after party. Parks will have the restrooms open at 5am and the irrigation off. 5 garbage recepticles, Melissa's Race will provide clean up. Seminole will close at 4am. Food trucks and vendors will arrive around 9am. 3. 10/11 thru 10/13/19: Octoberfest: Would like to sponsor Alive After 5, check into square at 9am and set up stage and lighting. Due to rain last year, it shortened staff hours, would like Sunday waste pick up. Private security(not armed) will be available after event hours only. 6 police officer's will be needed, 4 for security 2 for road closures. There will be a kidszone and beer truck. The Farmers Market will be occurring and can stay longer. Parks will provide the same trash recepticles as last year. Music will end at 11pm on Friday and Saturday and 6pm on Sunday. 4. 11/09/19: Jim Payne 5k: Greg with Wops Hops will look at different available dates, has asked for a temporary postponement and will get back with Jennifer Brooks. 5. 11/30/19: Romanian Traditions: Event will be 1 day, Sunday December 1st from 11am — 9pm, set up will be 9am to 11am. They will bring lighting, after meeting they will do a walk through of Fort Mellon Park with Tyrone Lowery. They will have beer and wine and will need to provide a liquor license. Creation Catering will provide food. No ambulance will be needed. 1 police officer will be needed at event due to alcohol being served. All shelters are being held except for 9. They would like one 8 yard dumpster and 6 liners. Pj
