This Bulletin is not a substitute for a Change Order or Construction Change Directive. The
Contractor is not authorized to proceed with any changes in the Work resulting in a change to
the Contract Sum or Contract Time absent a Change Order or Construction Change Directive,
which is required to be executed in accordance with the General Conditions of the
Construction Contract for any change to the Work.
If any changes to the Contract Sum or Contract Time is required, the Contractor shall submit
an itemized proposal for changes in the Contract Sum and Contract Time for proposed
modifications to the Contract Documents described herein. Proposals shall be submitted
within ten (10) working days following the date of this Bulletin, or written notification to the
Owner and Architect shall be provided indicating the date on which the proposal will be
submitted.
If no proposal or written notification is submitted within the time specified no change to the
Contract Sum or Time will be considered. Therefore, proceeding with the Work in
accordance with these instructions indicates acknowledgement that there will be no change
in the Contract Sum or Contract Time.
