AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3117 OF SAID CITY, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING THE LAND DEVELOPMENT
REGULATIONS; SAID AMENDMENTS INCLUDE AMENDING
SECTION 6.10(B), FINAL PLAT REQUIREMENTS TO STATE
THAT INFORMATION MAY BE SHOWN ON FINAL PLAT OR
SUBMITTED TO THE CITY; AMENDING SECTION
6.t0(B)(10), FINAL PLAT REQUIREMENTS, TO REQUIRE
APPLICANTS TO COORDINATE WITH UTILITY
COMPANIES AND TO INCLUDE UTILITY EASEMENTS ON
THE PLAT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS,
AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission of the City of Sanford to amend
Section 6.10(B), Final Plat Requirements of the Land Development Regulations of the City
of Sanford to state that information may be shown on final plat or submitted to the City;
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Commission of the City of Sanford to amend
Section 6.10(B)(10), Final Plat Requirements of the Land Development Regulations of the
City of Sanford to require applicants to coordinate with utility companies and to include
utility easements on the plat; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SAN FORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Section 6.10(B) of the City of Sanford, Land Development
Regulations, Ordinance No. 3117, is hereby deleted in its entirety and the new Section
6.10(B) is adopted as follows:
B. Required Information and Data. The following items and
information shall be shown on the final plat or submitted to the
City as a~plicable:
SECTION 2: That Section 6.10(B)(10) of the City of Sanford, Land Development
Regulations, Ordinance No. 3117, is hereby deleted in its entirety and the new Section
6.10(B)(10) is adopted as follows:
10. Dedications, Reservations and Easements. Indicate
all dimensions, purpose, conditions and stipulations. Also
include a notice on the face of the plat that there may be
additional restrictions that are not recorded on the plat that
may be found in the public records of Seminole County. The
Applicant shall coordinate with the utility companies (electric
and telephone) and incorporate their easement requirements
on the plat including locations and dimensions. The Applicant
shall provide to the City written verification from utility
companies that necessary easements are included on the plat.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and
the same are hereby revoked;
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
