CDOM Thanksgiving Outreach: Event details were discussed and it was determined no City services would be required. The event was denied as a special event. 2. 2020 Sanford Food Truck Fiesta: Most Food Fiesta events have additional themes and details added to the events which required staff discussion with the applicant Dustin Gioertz determined how to move forward with Food Truck event applications. Further discussion with the applicant is to follow to determine if events should be considered on a monthly basis. The following City services will be required for Food Truck Fiesta with 1 normal footprint and hours: two Parks staff for trash maintenance from 5 —10 pm, one dumpster,150 chairs and one spider box to be located at the southeaster corner of Palmetto Avenue and 2nd Street. Applicant was notified of the increase in City labor cost effective 10/1/19 and of the pending pay increase in Police staff. 3. Alive After 5: Celery City is providing general and liquor liability insurance with City named as additional insured. Jim Gantt suggest the applicant request the same for the Welcome Center. Staff requested insurance certificates be provided from "out of the normal" type vendors (i.e. pony rides, rock walls, bounce houses). Two Police staff will use police vehicles for road closures and security from 3 — 8 pm, and a third police officer will provided additional security from 4:30 — 8:30 pm. The applicant inquired about the use of private security, but Police Deparment requires police staff to maintain road closures. The applicant confirmed the event will have a couple of food vendors, beer carrt, marketing, information and entertainment in Magnolia Square. The event generates revenue for the Welcome Center. 4. TNT Fireworks Sales: No City services are requested or required. Staff Reports/Discussion: National Night Out: Two spider boxes. Street Explosion: No discussion required Hearts in Mission Dinner & Fundraiser: Jennifer to confirm a dumpster was assigned St. Thomas Moore Church Prayer Walk: Event will begin at Monroe hall and flow east toward Mellonville Avenue; Mellonville Avenue toward Seminole Boulevard and continue along the lakefront to Veterans's Memorial Park, and return along the same route. Bravo Breast Cancer: Cancelled Alive After Five: No discussion required Bike Nights at the Alley: No discussion required Oktoberfest: No discussion required Florida Truktoberfest: One Police Officer for security; Christos will provide proof of insurance and liquor liability Sanford Riveralk 5K: No discussion required.
