Zach Glenn Offc. Sean Hill Ronnie McNeil Tyrone Lowery Add On Items/New Business: 1. Hollerbach's Springfest: Same footprint as previous year. Applicant corrected the event time for Friday to be 5 — 10 pm. Street closure Magnolia Square from 1" Street to 3`d Street. 2nd Street down to Palmetto Avenue with a soft street closure at 2nd and Palmetto Avenue. The Farmer's Market will be located in the Square and has been invited to stay for the event hours. Discussion regarding stage placement to control sound levels that effect residence. The applicant will contact stage company and inquire about breaking the stage down at night and will follow-up with Jennifer. The applicant stated they would rather lower the level as opposed to relocated the stage. They will also have directional speakers the applicant feels will help control sound levels. Three dumpsters will be delivered to the parking lot adjacent to the bank at 2"d Street and Magnolia Avenue. The kids' zone will be located on 2"`' Street between the alley and Palmetto Avenue. The applicant would like the alleys closed to access during the event and leave only 1" Street alley open. 2. St. Paddy's Day Truck Pull & Street Festival: applicant will be changing the footprint and will follow-up with event information. City staff will follow-up regarding fire trucks on 1" Street. 3. Sanford Music Festival: The applicant plans to downsize the event space and have all entertainment and vendors located in the parking lot behind West End. The event space will be enclosed. Police staff will be on site to maintain security and ensure there are emergency exits. The bands will be located either in West End or in the outdoor secured space. Bands inside will end by MIDNIGHT. Bands outside will end by 10 PM. 4. Christmas in July: This is an event to collect school supplies for the upcoming school year and offer community awareness of available services. There will be a deejay and Mr. and Mrs. Claus. Ladies 327 will pull the liquor permit. A dumpster will be required for the event and 25 trash bags will be delivered to the Bison. 5. Jazz in the Park: Portable handwashing station, portable restrooms and dumpster will be located east of the cultural arts building. The applicant is planning on four bands. 5`' Street, from Park Avenue to Oak Avenue will be closed. VIP will be located in the cultural arts building. Bands will be situated to face north in the park. The applicant has staff to maintaint the trash and clean-up of the event. 6. Sanford Avenue Block Party: The applicant is requesting to add September and November to the already scheuduled Block Party dates. The timeline will remain the same as previous months. The applicant commended Police Staff on the job there are doing at her events. The street closure will be Sanford Avenue, from mid 3rd Street to 6`' Street. 7. Sanford Avenue Block Party Halloween Event: Event hours are from 5 pm to midnight and is also the Sanford Avenue Brewing anniversary. There will be a costume party and bands located at 5`" Street and Sanford Avenue and 4" Street and Sanford Avenue. The applicant is considering having a demonstration from "Birds of Prey". Jennifer reminded the applicant that liquor liability will be required from anyone selling alcohol. 8. LAO New Year Event: An alcohol permit will be required and Police staff for security. The event will follow the previous year's format. 9. Mont's Law Firm Event: The event will be in Ft. Mellon Park. No street closure will be required. One City staff will be required for trash maintenance and the applicant will have additional support. Two dumpsters are required. Pavilions will be rented for the event.
