Acceptance of permit is verification that I will notify the owner of the property of the requirements of Florida Lien Law, FS 713.
The City of Sanford requires payment of a plan review fee at the time of permit submittal. A copy of the executed contract is required
in order to calculate a plan review charge and will be considered the estimated construction value of the job at the time of submittal.
The actual construction value will be figured based on the current ICC Valuation Table in effect at the time the permit is issued, in
accordance with local ordinance. Should''calculated charges figured off the executed contract exceed the actual construction value,
credit will be applied to your permit fees when the permit is issued.

Upon inspection by Code Enforcement of the above referenced property it has been determined that your
property is not in compliance with the Sanford City Code. The applicable code sections are listed below:

Code Requirements: No person shall do, or cause to be done, any construction, alteration, repair or
demolition covered by the provisions of this chapter without first paying to the city a
fee in accordance with the permit fee table as adopted by the city commission by
resolution or other means that they may determine from time to time.

living space; installation of windows and exterior doors to enclosed porches). Contact

Code Requirements: The exterior of a structure shall be maintained in good repair, structurally sound and
sanitary so as not to pose a threat to the public health, safety or welfare.

Code Requirements: All exterior surfaces, including but not limited to, doors, door and window frames,
cornices, porches, trim, balconies, decks and fences shall be maintained in good
codition.. Exterior wood surfaces, other than decay -resistant woods, shall be
pr,'eted from the elements and decay by painting or other protective covering or
treatment. Peeling, flaking and chipped paint shall be eliminated and surfaces
repainted. All siding and masonry joints as well as those between the building
envelope and the perimeter of windows, doors, and skylights shall be maintained
weather resistant and water tight. All metal surfaces subject to rust or corrosion shall
be coated to inhibit such rust and corrosion and all surfaces with rust or corrosion shall
be stabilized and coated to inhibit future rust and corrosion. Oxidation stains shall be
removed from exterior surfaces. Surfaces designed for stabilization by oxidation are
exempt from this requirement.
Comments: Maintain all exterior surfaces in good condition (including but not limited to; rotten
wood, peeling, flaking and chipped paint). Be advised that a building permit may be
