Contractor shall examine premises and shall be responsible for correlation of work with existing construction. b. Repair any damage done to existing construction and do all patching and matching necessary to 1(:,avc- job in first c -1, -)ss finished condition. c. Verify all. dimension:., on site before proceeding with work. d. Contractor shall. obtain and pay for all permits, licenses and fees as needed to complete job and shall carry all required Liability and Compen- sation insurance. 2. STRUCTURAL WORK: a. The (6) westernmost roof joists have buckled. They should be replaced with n(�w joists all bent bridging should also be replaced. b. The roof deck and steel centering above the (6) west (.�rnmost joists have sagged and bent. These should be removed and replaced. C. The west exterior masonry wall, where exposed to the fire has received some damage, including cracking of masonry tie beam and a relatively small amount of s,trface chipping of concrete block. The tie beams can be repaired by cutting out the cracked concrete and rep Lacing with "Por-rak" grout, taking care not to cut any beam reinforcement. The south 32' of wall above ceiling (upper 8') should be lightly sand- blasted, or otherwise well cleaned on the inside anal a coz,,.t of cement plaster (%11 + Thick) applied contact to the ma,,.;onry. Plaster should be high strength, equal to "Shurewall". d. Steel beams supporting the damaged joists were "visually checked, but apparently have sustained no structural damage:,. 3. ROOFING: Roofing over the replaced deck will require replacing. It would probably be advisable to replace the roofing over the entire west end of the building, extending to the east as far as the first roof expansion joists, since this would avoid patching roof, with subsequent "Call-backs." M PLUMBING: Plumber shall. carefully check existine construction and make all provisions necessary connect work to existing lines and provide new fixtures. New plumbing shall be replaced areal of existing plumbing. ert I 5.
