AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3117 OF SAID CITY; SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID AMENDMENT
CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF THAT
CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN LAKE MONROE
LAKEFRONT AND FIRST STREET AND BETWEEN SAN
JUAN AVENUE AND SANFORD AVENUE FROM RMOI,
MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL-OFFICE INSTITUTIONAL
TO SC-3, SPECIAL COMMERCIAL; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 3117 of the City of Sanford, Florida passed and
adopted July 27, 1992, said Ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Sanford, Florida, regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings,
structures, land, and water for trade, industry, residence or other purpose, be and the
same is hereby amended as follows:
Blocks 1, 2, 11, 12, 13, 14, 22 and unlotted block East of Block
13 and North of Block 22, all lying North of First Street as
recorded in Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, in
Plat Book 1, Page 24, of Section 30, Township 20 South,
Range 31 East; and Blocks A, B, C and D of Plat Book 3, Page
76, of Section 30, Township '19 South, Range 31 East,
Seminole County, Florida, LESS the easterly 700 feet.
The property being more generally described as between
Sanford Avenue and San Juan Avenue; and between East
First Street and the Lakefront.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from RMOI, Multiple Family Residential~Office
Institutional, to SC-3, Special Commercial, zoning district.
SECTION 2: Severability. If any section or portion of a section of this Ordinance
proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional it shall not be held to impair the validity,
force or effect of any other section or part of a section of this Ordinance.
SECTION 3: Conflicts. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: Effective Date. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately after Ordinance No. 3431 becomes effective.
