PROJECT CONTROL FOR 5 , zs a rr r - 7., a^rt�i • Lf GENERAL NOTES ;x Materials and construction methods for paving and storm drainage construction shall be -in accordance with the, 'Florida Department of Transpor'ation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 1977, or the latest revision thereof and supplemental specifications there too A. Pavement shall be constructed of 6" stabilized sub -base Florida Bearing Value 50 P.S.I. 6" limerock- base, 1" m4nimum Type I asphaltic concrete, The Contractor shall selectively, clear and Grub the site, and he shall consult with the Owner- prior to removing trees which are riot actually in the proposed paving areas or within 3' of the -edge of pavement, except if required for, safety reasons, in which case their removal shall be determined by the Owner '• and City Engineer.'' In addition, the Contractor shall provide clearing as re- quired for instal'(ation of utility and drainage facilities. All materials excavated shall be the pro- perty of the Owner and shall be disposed of or suitable materials utilized in areas to be filled, as. directed by the Owner and/or Engineer. Repair arid replacement of all private and public property affected by this work shall be restored to a, condition equal to or better than existed before commencing construction work, unless specifically exempted by the Plans. Cost to be incidental to other construction and no extra compensation to be allowed. Legal surveys, descriptions, easements, boundaries, topography, contours, cross-sections, lot lines, street right-of-way geometry, existing improvements and cultural information, and other horizontal and vertical land •surveying information has been furnished to the Engineer by others, and the En- gineer assumes no responsibility for their correctness or accuracy.. The Engineer's work shown on the Plans has been prepared based on the survey information provided by Henrich, Trotter, Carter & Ayers, Inc.,Land Surveyors. The Contractor is directed to obtain a copy of the site survey for the location of lot corners. P.R.M.'s shall be provided the Contractor by the Owner for laying out this work and Contractor shall, exercise care not to disturb these monuments'' Should any monu- ments be disturbed during construction by the Contractor, they shall be replaced at his expense by a surveyor approved by the Owner. For identification in contractual agreements, this set of drawings is dated MAY ?C)2 19&L. Any re- visions thereafter will be noted and dated on thie affected drawing or- drawings. The location of all existing'util-ities shown on the Plans have been determined from the best infor- mation available, and are given for the convenience of the Contractor, The Engineer assumes no re- sponsibility for accuracy. Prior, to the start of any construction activity, it shall be the Con- tractor's responsibility to notify the various Utilities, and to make the necessary arrangements for any relocations of these utilities whether shown on the Plan or located by the utility company. All uti l i ti es which interfere with the proposed construction shall be relocated by the respective utility companies, and the ,G,ontractor shall cooperate with them during relocation operations. Any delay or inconvenience c4us.ec11;the Contractor by the relocation of the various utilities shall be incidental to the contrart,,dn,d.no extra compensation will be allowed. All site work shall be constructed to thev, City of Sanford- 'Specifications and subject to city in� spection and approval. All disturbed areas shall be sodded. All signs to conform to the'.
