FRAMING NOTES:
1. All wood framing shall be fabricated and Installed per AITC and TPI and National Design
Specifications.

2. All Structural Wood iviembers shall have a Minimum extreme fiber stress bearing (FB) of 1,200 psi.
3. Unless otherwise noted, the following lurriber grades shall be. used:
a. Structural Light Framing Size to be 2" thick x 4" wide No. 2 or better.
b. Stud Size to be 2" thick x 4" wide or T thick x. 6" wide Stud Grade.
c. Structural Joists and Planking to be 2" to 4" thick x 8" wide or wider No. 2 or better.
d. Light Framing to be 2" thick x 4" wide or wider No. 2 or better.
4. Plywood sheathing shall be APA structural 1 - Group I ; size and span rating as shown on the
construction drawings.
5. All wood members exposed to weather or in contact with rnasonary concrete or soils
shall be Pressure 'Created.
6. Contractor shall provide all fastener devices as required by the Pre-Engr. BLISS Package.
Fastening Devices subject to moisture shall be hot dipped galvanized to ASTM -153-80.
7. All metal connections and fabrications shall comply with AISC Speoitications.
8. Solid Block all Joists and Rafters at points of support.
_ 9. Prefabricated Structural 'Trusses shall connply with NFPA National Design Specifications
for Wood Construction and TPI Design Specitications for Metal Plate connected Wood
Trusses and AITC 100.
10. All Trusses shall be designed and certified by the 'Truss Manufacturers Lisa: Engineer
I and all Floor Joists sliall be Designed and Certified by the stung Engineer.
