QMOUNT SMOKE DETECTORS AT THE CEILING, AND NOT ON THE BOTTOMS OF BEAMS OR
JOISTS. LOCATE ALL SMOKE DETECTORS A MINIMUM OF THREE (3) FEET FROM ANY
MECHANICAL DIFFUSERS, AND AS REQUIRED BY NEPA 72. SMOKE DETECTOR HEADS
SHALL NOT BE INSTALLED UNTIL AFTER THE CONSTRUCTION CLEANUP OF ALL TRADES
IS COMPLETE AND FINAL
QALL DUCT DETECTOR SHALL BE PROGRAMMED FOR AHU SHUT DOWN UPON ANY ALARM
