The following is a list of the areas of the submitted plans that contained violations of the codes adopted by the City of
Sanford and enforced by the Building Division. The violations noted must be addressed before the plans can be approved.
Changes to plans shall be submitted on the same size format as the original submittal. Changes to construction documents
that require an Architect or Engineer's seal must be submitted with the appropriate seal. Provide two copies of affected
plan sheets and/or supplemental information as requested.
COMMENTS:
1. Please provide two (2) copies of Florida Product Approval and the manufacturer's installation instructions for the new
window. Product approval numbers begin with FL and can be found at www.floridabuilding.org Please contact me if you
need assistance.

As a courtesy, please feel free to email me or call me with the Florida Product Approval # for the new window
and I will print out the information & add this to your plans. This should speed up the review process and save
you an additional trip to the building department. My contact information is located below.***
Please be advised the following comments will be added to your plans:
The entire dwelling will be required to be equipped with smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors as required for
new constructions, in accordance with FBCR R314 and FBCR R315.
All plumbing must remain in place, as the plans state the plumbing will be "repaired." If the current configuration of the
kitchen sink is changed, or any additional plumbing is added, a revision will be required.
The electric is noted as being "repaired" only. No new electric is permitted to be installed, such as new lighting or
additional receptacles unless a revision is provided. All existing electric that will be repaired must be provided with GFCI
protection.
Electric and Plumbing sub -permits will be required to perform the repair to the applicable systems.
Any error or omission in this plan review shall not be construed to grant approval of any violation of any of the adopted
codes or municipal ordinances of this jurisdiction.

The price quoted is estimate based on what is seen. There could be additional cost once
wall is opened. Client will be notified prior to work being done if addition fee assessed.
