The violations noted must be addressed before the plans can be approved. Changes to plans shall be submitted on the same size format as the original submittal. Changes to construction documents that require an Architect or Engineer's seal must be submitted with the appropriate seal. Provide two copies of affected plan sheets and/or supplemental information as requested. 2nd Plan Review Comments: The permit application description of work states — re -pipe, re -wire and installation of new HVAC. The following questions must be addressed for clarification 1. A plumbing DWV (drain, waste and vent) riser diagram is required to be submitted addressing the new bathroom added, new bathroom configuration and existing plumbing. Riser shall include all pipe sizes and venting methods. DWV can be hand -drawn by the licensed plumber and does not need to be signed/sealed by the engineer. Two copies are required. FBC 107 2. The electrical page of the plans submitted only includes a few added receptacles and lights. If the home is being completely re -wired, an electrical floor plan must be provided showing all electrical components. The components must be labeled as either existing or new. The electrical floor plan is not required to be signed/sealed by the engineer. FBC 107 3. Also for re -wiring the entire home, two copies of electrical load calculations are required indicating the required service size and if an upgrade will be required. This can be done by the licensed electrician and is not required to be signed/sealed by the engineer. FBC 107 4. For the new HVAC, the plans need to indicate that the units will be replaced. Also, if new ductwork is being installed two copies of a HVAC duct layout is required. The duct layout is not required to be signed/sealed by the engineer. Two copies of Florida Product Approval and corresponding installation instructions are required for the new exterior front door that will be installed. FBC 107 The new screened areas will require a separate permit unless engineering is provided on how the screen will be installed.
