Staff Reports/Discussion:
1. Kaleidoscope Artisans Market 11/29/2020: Applicant will place vedors on the east side of Henry's
Depot. Parking on the right-of-way will be blocked off for safety and no parking will be allowed. No City
services are being requested. The applicant will limit the number of vendors to twenty-five. No food or
drinks will be served in the market area, but the applicant is requesting to allow for open containers
outside.
2. Holiday Bike Show 12/12/2020: Applicant will amend th application to indicate Henry's Depot as the
sponsoring organization. The applicant is requesting to have a beer tent outdoors. Two police officers
will be assigned for security. Car parking will be on the right-of-way to the east of the Depot and
motorocyle parking will be the parking lot. There will be a stage adjacent to Fulton Street, facing south.
We will need a COl from the Henry's Depot.
3. VA Car Show 1-16-2020: The applicant will have a beer truck and outdoor bar. Two police officers will
be assigned for the road closure and security. Road closure will be Myrtle Avenue between 1st Street
and Fulton Street. Cars that are part of the event, will entry from Fulton Street. The applicant is also
requesting to hang a banner over 1st Street. A COi will need to be provided from anyone that will be
selling alcohol. The applicant will seek permission to use the parking lot to the east of the Depot.
4. Celery City Cruisers 01/30— 10/30/2021: This is a repeat event and will occur the 4th Saturday of the
month, from January to October. One CRA officer will be provided for event security and road closure.
Barricades will be dropped off and placed by the applicant.
