Add On Items/New Business:
03/26-04/04/2021 Seminole County Fair; Applicant is expecting participation to be similar to previous
years. Fire Department had no questions. Risk Management reviewed the Certificate of Insurance. It is
noted the current insurance expires prior to the event end date. We will need new COL Police staff will
schedule officers as scheduled in 2019.
02/09/2021 Homestead Steaks; We did not receive completed application and are assuming the event is
canceled.
06/20-07/05/2021 TNT Fireworks; This is a repeat event and requires no City services.
03/07/2021 Completely Unchained Concert; Representative Andrew Provan, no road closure, event will be
contained in the parking lot. Applicant is securing permission to use the parking lot at Ethnos.
2021 Kaleidoscope Artisan Market: Zoning Dept. doesn't have a problem with the event occurring weekly,
but expects there could be feedback from Commission and other staff due to the use of right-of-way
space on a weekly basis. There is currently a maximum number of 20 vendors. The event will be reviewed
and presented to Commission every quarter. It is expected that after COVID, the event would likely not be
approved. It is noted the date of 4/2/2021 for Easter is the incorrect date and the correct date should be
4/4/2021.
2/6-2/21/2021 Gigantic Truckload Meat Sale; This is a food sale event to be located in the south parking lot
of the Seminole Towne Center Mall. The applicant submitted the application package completed, but will
need to supply a current Certificate of Insurance with the physical address for the City of Sanford.
