° Sara Chase Byers Chase and Co. Accepted tobeincollection for its merit tohistory.
° Connie Payton photograph of the Mayfair Pool and Mayfair Hotel Movie premier
accepted into the collection but not the SteUStmDmRealty book
° Jim & Margaret Davis famed front plan blueprint for 419Magnolia Ave was rejected but
only on the grounds if we can scan the image and give it to Caroline Garda the current
owner of4I9Magnolia. The Davis' wished that ifthe museum did not want the original
it would be given to her. The working group believes that information is important but
the original needs tostay with the home.
° Sean McCann recused himself for his donation of the Mary Proctor Southside autograph
book. Accepted into the collection
° DAR Collection
o The loan at the museum runs out in June of this year. The collections working
group believes since if cannot be used by the public it does not follow the
Current collection policy so we should start warning the DAR they should find a
new home for the collection.
u While the DAR has done nice things in the past and their relationship isfriendly it
does not warrant Vsto become storage.

q The collection has not been proposed but itisagood case study.
o The working group believes a collections with this many stipulations, and
control, as well as the request to not have it put in context of S8Oford's
swimming pool is not acceptable and therefore unless Mr. Cao|o finds a
compromise atthis current moment they would not take it.
o The committee believes Jackie Cao|oto be an important figure in Sanford but if
we are to do a display about her that the ideal way is to put her in context of
swimming.
