AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3117 OF SAID CITY; SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN; SAID AMENDMENTS
CHANGING THE ZONING OF A PORTION OF THAT
CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING BETWEEN NORTH MYRTLE
AVENUE AND NORTH PARK AVENUE AND BETWEEN
FULTON STREET AND WEST FIRST STREET FROM SC-3,
SPECIAL COMMERCIAL, TO PD, PLANNED
DEVELOPMENT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 3117 of the City of Sanford,
Florida passed and adopted July 27, 1992, said Ordinance being the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida,
regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings,
structures, land, and water from trade, industry, residence or
other purposed, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
Begin 5 feet East of the Northwest corner of Lot 5, Block
2, Tier 4, Town of Sanford, according to E.R. Trafford's
Map thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Pages 56 through
64, of the Public Records Of Seminole County, Florida,
thence run South to South line of Lot 6, West 140.04
feet, North 118.2 feet, West 51.4 feet, North 170.2 feet,
East 185.04 feet, South to beginning: all of said land
lying and being in Block 2, Tiers 4 and 5, of said map of
the Town of Sanford, AND Lots 8 and 9, Block 2, Tier 5,
of the Town of Sanford, according to E.R. Trafford's Map
thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Pages 56 through 64,
of the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, AND
Lots 1 through 4 (LESS the West 16 feet thereof) and Lots
5 and 6, Block 1, Tier 5, and Begin at the Southeast
corner of Lot 6, Block 1, Tier 5, run North 250 feet,
East 82.44 feet, South 250 feet, West to beginning of the
Town of Sanford, according to E.R. Trafford's Map
thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Pages 56 through 64,
of the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida AND
Lots 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 (LESS the East 7 feet and Less
the East 50 feet of the West 54.6 feet) and the West 1/2
of vacated alley on the East, of Block 1, Tier 4, of the
Town of Sanford, according to E.R. Trafford's Map
thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Pages 56 through 64,
of the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida
be and the same is hereby rezoned from SC-3, Special Commercial, to
PD, Planned Development.
SECTION 2: Severability. If any section or portion of a
section of this Ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or
unconstitutional it shall not be held to impair the validity, force
or effect of any other section or part of a section of this
Ordinance.
SECTION 3: Conflicts. That all ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are herebyrevoked.
SECTION 4: Effective Date. That this Ordinance shall become
effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
