The City of Sanford requires payment of a plan review fee at the time of permit submittal. A copy of the executed contract is required
in order to calculate a plan review charge and will be considered the estimated construction value of the job at the time of submittal.
The actual construction value will be figured based on the current ICC Valuation Table in effect at the time the permit is issued, in
accordance with local ordinance. Should calculated charges figured off the executed contract exceed the actual construction value,
credit will be applied to your permit fees when the permit is issued.

Interior Alterations/Remodeling — Bathroom Construction Review

Remodeling Inspection
Dear Sirs,
We have been asked to review the remodeling and alterations within this single family residence. The
owner obtained a permit from the city for said remodeling. The work associated with the permit provided
for the creation of a bathroom within the existing structure. The hand drawing plans provided for the
plumbing and electrical improvements as well as the proposed partition. The owner completed the
improvements and did not obtain a inspection of the work with the city.
We were asked to review the proposed work and provide a substantial completion report as to the
improvements as detailed in the permit. The electrical modifications were completed by a licensed
electrical contractor and installed the systems as per city and state requirements. In review of the
plumbing and wall systems, we believe these are in conformance with the city requirements as noted on
the permit drawings.
After our review of the completed modifications and discussions with the electrical contractor as to the
systems installed, we believe that to the best of our knowledge and believe based on said inspection the
improvements are substantially complete as permitted. We recommend that these improvements be
issued a new permit and be approved for use.
We believe that there are no other areas of concern in the home and find the improvements complete..
