APPLICATION
The SD37 i; a UL555S Leakage Class 1 Smoke Damper con-
structed with triple V-groove or one-piece airfoil blades, used in
ducts that penetrate smoke rated barriers. The damper may be
installed vertically or horizontally within 24" (610) of a smoke bar-
rier. The SD t7 is designed for use in systems with airflow in either
direction witt velocities to 2,000 fpm and pressures to 4" w.g.
STANDARD CONSTRUCTION
FRAME
5" x 16 gage (127 x 1.6) galvanized, single piece, hat -shaped
channel, tructurally superior to 13 (2.3) gage steel channel
frame.
BLADES
6" (152) wide galvanized steel. Triple v-groove or airfoil shaped
approxima ely 6" (152) on center.
BEARINGS
Stainless teel sleeve type, pressed into frame.
JAMB SEAL
Stainless steel, flexible metal compression type.
BLADE SEALS
Silicone ed a type, mechanically fastened to the blade edge, for
smoke sea to 450°F (232°C).
