16/20/22 kW features and benefits
Engine
Generac (OHVI) design Maximizes engine "breathing" for increased fuel efficiency. Plateau honed cylinder walls and plasma moly rings
helps the engine run cooler, reducing oil consumption resulting in longer engine life.
Quiet Test'" Greatly reduces sound output and fuel consumption during bi-weekly exercise, compared to other brands.
Spiny-lok" cast iron cylinder walls Rigid construction and added durability provide long engine life.
Electronic ignition/spark advance These features combine to assure smooth, quick starting every time.
Full pressure lubrication system Pressurized lubrication to all vital bearings means better performance, less maintenance and longer engine life.
Now featuring up to a 2 year/200 hour oil change interval.
Low oil pressure shutdown system Shutdown protection prevents catastrophic engine damage due to low oil.
High temperature shutdown Prevents damage due to overheating.
Generator
Revolving field Allows for a smaller, light weight unit that operates 25% more efficiently than a revolving armature generator.
Skewed stator Produces a smooth output waveform for compatibility with electronic equipment.
Displaced phase excitation Maximizes motor starting capability.
Automatic voltage regulation Regulates the output voltage to ±1 % prevents damaging voltage spikes.
UL 2200 listed For your safety.
Transfer Switch
Fully automatic Transfers your vital electrical loads to the energized source of power.
Pre -wired, color -coded conduits Ensures the easiest, trouble -free installation.
Pre -wired switches only)

the utility power outage. No overload capability is available for this rating. (All ratings in accordance with B55514, IS03046 and DIN6271). *Maximum wattage and current are subject to and limited by such factors as fuel Btu/megajoule content, ambient
temperature, altitude, engine power and condition, etc. Maximum power decreases about 3.5 percent for each 1,000 feet (304.8 meters) above sea level; and also will decrease about 1 percent for each 6 T (10 T) above 16 T (60 T).

Description
Generac Automatic Transfer Switches are designed for use with single phase generators that utilize an Evolution- or Nexus - Controller. The 100, 200, and 400 amp open transition switches-.are_available in-sing.le phase in bothservice equipment rated and non -service equipment rated configurations, The 150-and 30.6amp.open transition -switches are only available in a service rated equipment configuration. Standard Features
Service rated (
RTSW) Generac Automatic Transfer Switches are housed in an aluminum NEMA/,UL Type 3R enclosure*, with electrostatically appliedandbakedpowderpaint. The Heavy Duty Generac.Contactor is a UL recognized device, designed for years ofservice. The controller at the generator handles all the timing, sensing, exercising functions, and transfer commands. All switches arecoveredbya5yearlimitedwarranty. Non -service
rated (RTSC) switches are housed in a steel enclosure. DPM Technology
Through the
use of digital power technology (DPM), these switches have the capability to manage up to 4 individual HVAC (24 VAC controlled) loadswithnoadditionalhardware. When used in tandem with Smart Management Modules, up to 8 more loads can be managed aswell, providing the most installation efficient power management options available. SO

DESCRIPTION
Generac's Smart Power Management System is designed to optimize the performance of a standby generator. The system can consist of up to 8 IndividualSmartManagementModules (SMM). Unlike other load management systems that depend on another control device, the SMM modules are actually self - aware and operate autonomously.
Frequency is the true measure of generator engine performance and does not need to factor in increased ambient temperatures, elevation changes orgeneratorfueltype. The modules monitor the frequency (Hz) of the power being produced by Generac's standby generators and if it falls below a certainthreshold, the module will automatically follow a power management algorithm to ensure that the generator is not overloaded.
The modules can be set to a load priority between 1-8 or be set in a lock out only mode for loads that just simply do not need to run in an outage, thereforereducingthenecessarysizeofthegeneratorforamorecosteffectivesolution.
