AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, CLOSING,
VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN 7 1/2 FOOT
WIDE NORTH-SOUTH DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT LYING ON THE
EAST SIDE OF THE PROPERTY AT 101 SWEET GUM COURT; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, an application has been filed with the City of Sanford to close,
vacate and abandon that certain 7 112 foot wide north-south drainage and utility
easement lying on the east side of the property at 101 Sweet Gum Court; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 23, 1994, for eonsideratio
determinations to whether or not the closing, vacating and abandoning of.,~ohat
certain drainage and utility easement should be allowed; and rn

WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the closing, vacating.4~d::~
abandoning that certain property does not conflict with the Comprehensive Plan oi~O
the City of Sanford, Florida, and that the public health, economy, comfort, order,
convenience, and welfare will be promoted by such closing, vacating and
abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That certain 7 1/2 foot wide north-south drainage and utility
easement lying on the East side of the property at 101 Sweet Gum Court, more
particularly described as follows:
The Southerly 134.55 feet of that certain 7 1/2 foot wide north-south
drainage and utility easement lying on the east side of Lot 12, Hidden
Lake Phase 3, Unit 4, as recorded in Plat Book 28, Pages I and 2,
Public Records of Seminole County, Florida,
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this ordinance proves to
be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to impair the validity, '-
force or effect of any other section or part of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage and adoption.
