AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, CLOSING,
VACATING, AND ABANDONING A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN 7.5
FOOT WIDE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT LYING ON THE
SOUTHEASTERLY SIDE OF THE PROPERTY AT 108 VENTURA DRIVE,
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, CONFLICTS AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of that certain 7.5 foot wide drainage and
utility easement lying the southeasterly side of the property at 108 Ventura
Drive, applied to the City of Sanford, Florida, their application to have
said property closed, vacated and abandoned; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 8, 1992, for
consideration and determination as to whether or not the closing, vacating
and abandoning of that easement should be allowed; and
WHEREAS, the city commission has determined that the closing,
vacating and abandoning of that certain property does not conflict with the
comprehensive Plan of the city of Sanford, Florida, and that the public
health, economy, comfort, order, convenience, and welfare will be promoted by
such closing, vacating an abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That portion of that certain 7.5 foot wide drainage
and utility easement lying on t~-/southeasterly side of the property at 108
Ventura Drive, more particularly described as follows:
The northwesterly 5.5 feet of that certain 7.5 foot
drainage and utility easement lying on the southeasterly
side of Lot 63, Block 4, Hidden Lake Phase II, Unit 1
according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book
24, pages 15-17 of the Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida.
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not be
held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part of
this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby revoked.

upon its passage and adoption.
