AVENUE PROVIDING FOR SE~BILITY, CONFLICTS ~D
EFFECTI~ DATE.
WHEREAS, the owners of that certain real property abutting alley
lying between W. 1st Street and W. 2nd Street and between Mangoustine Avenue
and Avocado Avenue; applied to the City of Sanford, Florida, their
application to have said property closed, vacated and abandoned; and

WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 10, 1991, -}99e, for
consideration and determination as to whether or not the closing,
vacating and abandoning of that easement should be allowed; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has determined that the
closing, vacating and abandoning of that certain property does not
conflict with the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sanford, Florida,
and that the public health, economy, comfort, order, convenience, and
welfare will be promoted by such closing, vacating an abandoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That an alley lying between W. 1st Street and W.
2nd Street and between Mangoustine Avenue and Avocado Avenue, more
particularly described as follows:
That 20 foot alley lying North of Lots 30 through 35
and East of Mangoustine Avenue, also the North 1/2 of
said 20' alley lying South of Lots 14 through 17,
Graceline Court, according to the plat thereof as
recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 99, Of the Public Records
of Seminole County, Florida, and That certain portion of
an east-west alley lying between Lot 36 and Lots 14
through 18, Graceline Court, as recorded in Plat Book 3,
Page 99 of the Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida.
be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned, but a utility
easement is retained over same.
SECTION 2: If any section or portion of a section Of this
ordinance proves to be invalid, unlawful or unconstitutional, it shall not
be held to impair the validity, force or effect of any other section or part
of this ordinance.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinaMe~f~Oir~LTJCD
conflict herewith be and the s~e are hereby revoked.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become ~fective
i~ediately upon its passage and adoption.
